      Pros

      Good exposure to the business for graduates. Lots of training opportunities until you finish the program. Reasonable salary.

      Cons

      Very much a boys club, don't expect any opportunities if you aren't one to suck up to the important people. People are stretched very thin. Redundancies are adding stress and cost cutting initiatives might backfire with low workforce numbers and high pressure to increase productivity.

      Has no respect for workers. paid bonus based on how many workers you can get sacked.

      Cons

      BHP is an arrogant organisation, that is exploiting its work force using the low commodity price to trash the community and destroy the good past legacy. Racist organisation.

      Pros

      Pro's specific to BHPBilliton in Perth, pay and location, very little else.

      Cons

      So disorganised it's beyond belief. Too many office staff running off to site each week to try to justify themselves. Too top heavy. Minefield of politics. Very little foresight, they've been the fat cat on the block for too long and lost sight of the competition until it was too late. Too many managers/supervisors working to their own agenda and disconnected from the teams. Don't what-ever you do speak out, it's not well received, no opinions allowed, you will be dealt with.
