BDO is unfortunately a company that is operating like a company in 1980’s. There is no forward-thinking momentum at this firm. Creative ideas are not encouraged or entertained. Face-time and being in the office is valued higher than productive work strategies, despite the firms commitment to “flexibility” BDO Leaders are plagued by management strategies that do not align with the evolving workforce whatsoever. HR makes no effort to support its employees (even those within the HR team) and exists solely to enforce antiquated company policies. HR is also very unavailable and sit behind closed office doors all day. You’ll hear in their pitch that the company lives by their “core values” that includes “people first”, “flexibility” but rarely do employees see that first hand. BDO operates the same way it’s been for the past 50 years and makes no effort to think out of the box, which will be its ultimate demise. If you are looking for a forward thinking firm with flexibility, support, training and mentorship, this firm is not for you.
