Pros

Very relaxed atmosphere, friendly people. Reasonable pension.

Cons

Low salary and bonus compared to other banks. Benefits are bad, terrible HR team in general. Poor (very poor) technology, a lot of manual processes. No promotion process. Combination of interns & people close to retirement who just want to spend their last years in a relaxed place, with very low expectactions and standards compared to any other banks. Management act as a mafia, rules don't apply to them. The few rules you have to follow make no sense but they are very strict applying them. Management from Head Office is inexistent. As a summary, it is a joke, if you have any aspirations, want to grow in your career just avoid BBVA London branch. Also, they do not understand brexit and therefore likely to leave London soon.
