Pros

Fellow employees and managers are awesome people Good hours

Cons

Incentive plan is so convoluted that you will NEVER make an incentive payout Systems still need A LOT of work Help desk can very seldom help you with a problem, technical issue, etc., and most times you get passed around to different departments till you give up Keep in mind before thinking of working here that BBVA is the entire conglomerate (Compass being one of the banks they bought out) that buys out and has bought out a multitude of banks (over 150 so far), so be prepared for constant structural changes, branch closures, and etc.

Pros

Excelent Bank, the largest in Mexico. You definetively have opportunities to grow and develop yourself. Great work environment.

Cons

The Holding company in Spain sometimes makes decisions that affect BBVA wordwide and don't represent the best decisions for the Mexican entity. Mexico represents almost 50% of the profits BBVA makes wordlwide, but downsizing and costs cutting also affects Mexico, even if the entity makes record profits and maintains constant growth.
