Pros

Free lunch and free coffee machines are quite good, but these definitely are not elements that make a workplace great or even good.

Cons

The organization is basically corrupt. There are no moral people in key positions. Having sex with your boss is a good way to climb the corporate ladder and this is a culture in this company. There are literally dozens of people who get into good positions just because they had or are having an affair with their bosses, this is unbelievable. The environment is an every-man-for-himself environment. There is no concept of team or team work. Also for most promotions the more disgusting you are, the more chances you have. If you are someone who openly boasts about cheating on your wife in this company, you will get promoted for sure. The salary is actually not good. For the beginning it maybe is, but in less than a decade your salary hits a ceiling. This is worse than most other similar workplaces and in the long run you are better off working at some place else, instead of this company. The work place provides some health insurance policies, however most people are not happy with those policies because they are simply bad compared to the competition. In general working at Garanti Technology is extremely stressful and the stress levels are well above working at most other places. The every-man-for-himself and no team work and all competition environment makes most people paranoid and in the long run unhappy. The parent company, Garanti Bank is also an organization which does not value customers or employees and this Garanti Technology place is the same. Thus, this company is doomed in the long run.

Pros

The employees are pretty nice and the free account is a great product.

Cons

Branch management is a joke, they are lazy and offer no help. Employees go through "training" which is sitting in front of a computer and once that's done, they are told to help customers with no guidance which creates a horrible customer experience. They keep saying how important customer service is, but they do nothing to male it better. If your unfortunate enough to work for a BRE who is well liked but upper management, chances are they will do nothing but sit in their office all day on the phone and internet.

Pros

Decent salary & benefits, good vacations time & holidays!

Cons

Executive management has lost touch with what some of their lower management is doing in the Birmingham offices. So many employees in the Birmingham offices are scared of being replaced by outsourcing that it has become "dog eat dog world." Some managers have been let run helter skelter over their employees even allowed to hit them and get by with it.
