      Pros

      Great benefits package. 5% match on 401k plus an additional 5% contributed even if you don't put any money in. Full tuition reimbursement as long as it applies to your job or a potential position you could go to within BASF.

      Cons

      Very structured system for promotions and raises. Needs some work to ensure that management doesn't seem like they're not telling their employees everything.

      BASF SE is the world's leading chemical company, and one of the most innovation companies in the world. Working in the HQ in Ludwigshafen was such a great experience.

      Cons

      For working in BASF SE in Ludwigshafen in Germany, it is better to have a good knowledge of German language. Demanding environment.

      Excellent benefits, good pay, excellent products and distribution network.

      Cons

      Long range planning poor. Constantly changing direction company is taking into the future. Doesn't compete well or even try to compete in the generic market place.
