Pros

BASF provides it's employees with benefits to a level I have not seen in other organizations. The 401k match is better than I have ever seen, vacation time is better than the national average, flexible work from home schedules are available in many positions and the general atmosphere among other employees is positive

Cons

It is a large company so it can take a long time to get some things done in the organization. Some positions require a lot of travel, so it can be difficult for people with families, but the job descriptions are usually accurate when it comes to specified travel.

Pros

Good benefits and comparable pay. Good pit stop to quickly learn and stepping stone to next opportunity. A good place for career advancement ONLY if you’re part of the club.

Cons

They communicate a culture of growth and work life balance. The work life balance is your owned by you as an employee and is achievable. Otherwise, this is a place where careers go to die a slow and agonizing death. Everyone has left each and every division to find growth and opportunities to learn. Company is filled with a cancerous culture of politics and bad treatment of employees in every level.

Pros

Tuition Reimbursement, GREAT BENEFITS, Pays above industry average

Cons

While this is a great company, the Customer Care unit at the Charlotte location is a toxic environment. People are regularly on medical-leave for stress-induced issues. Employees are overworked and not paid overtime!(CCR is hourly/non-exempt). CCR's are stressed into putting in extra hours and are not compensated. There is no management support. I would not let anyone whose well-being I care about work in that department. Everyone in that group is miserable.
