BASF offers good balance between work and life. The compensation package is good and the facilities offered to employees are nice.

Cons

BASF is a big company. However, it offers little challenges to those that come into the organization with proven succesful backgrounds. There is no clear path for organizational growth. Supervision has a lot to learn about treating people equally.

- relatively fair evaluation - although local managers sometimes narrow, management is consisting of experienced managers who will listen - good work-life-balance

Cons

- salary below industry average until management - huge company, diffucult to change or be entrepreneurial

Pros

BASF provides a good atmosphere to grow and be promoted. Lots of work and above average talent. Would recommend as potential employer. Very careful with their money and spending, which is good, in a Global market place.

Cons

Took away a good reason to stay with the company past 2013, when they did away with the retirement program and made the dental plan more complicated for employees. Promotions for non-degreeded personnel is not based on performance or education, really understood.
