Pros

It's a company that helps and motivate you to grow as a person and profecionally. You feel part of something big when you work for a company as BASF.

Cons

It is a company as any other, when they have to cut on budget they just cut it. If you are a part of that budget your gone.

Pros

BASF is a great company to work for. The work family balance has improved significantly over the years. Also working with such exceptional colleagues, makes the experience even more enjoyable. I hope to have many more years contributing to the success of BASF.

Cons

A few departments (certainly not all) have a difficult 'team' environment. Making it a more competitive environment than things should be, esp. within a team. True entrepreneurial and collaborative behavior includes absolute teamwork, support, flexibility and work integrity, in my opinion. Statements like "that is not your job" or "make sure you cover yourself", shouldn't ever need to be heard.
