Pros

Hourly progression relatively fast. With luck there are at least 4 good units to work in. Competent and professional coworkers.

Cons

Weak labor union has created hostile environment and separation between management and employees. Management encouraged through bonuses to cut operator overtime, reduce workforce, and overwork the existing employees. No bonuses for operators. Work load in some units entirely too high.

Pros

Top pay after probationary period of 6 months for all operators. No progression steps in pay.

Cons

There is a hard distinct line between operations and management. Operators are treated like second class citizens.
