      BAMSI raised residential counselors and day service staff by 20%; starting salaries are now $17/hour. Additional increases in pay after completing orientation, and attaining certifications,. Reginal differential are also offered in many locations. BAMSI has developed partnerships with two universities where employees can get a discount on their tuition. BAMSI also offers education assistance programs. Great advancement opportunities. Great place to work - BAMSI is truly becoming an Employer of Choice! Great work environment; you will make a difference to the individuals supported. You make a difference every day!

      Because it's human services you will work with some of the kindest people who are so giving of themselves.

      Cons

      The salary you start with is the salary you end with if you stay. The pay is so low you will qualify for the low income services they and other organizations offer.
