Pros

Company car and free gas

Cons

To advance you must; 1. Have everyone above you absolutely adore you personally. (Not professionally) 2. Do not show anybody below you any sense of admiration for anything. 3. Do not, I repeat, do not, by any means dare to think out side the box and voice your ideas. To upper management this is a bad thing. You must conform to the "Avis Budget way" 4. Never expect any recognition for any accomplishment you or your team achieve. You must only promote yourself and hope that by doing so you make somebody like you.

Pros

They offer decent benefits and match 401K up to 6%. Once a year, they do on-sight diagnostic health screenings, and if you participate, you get a kickback on your health insurance premiums. At the headquarters, we have some nice events at different points in the year which can foster a family atmosphere.

Cons

Corporate employees are grossly underpaid for their work. What is worse is that especially at the World Headquarters in New Jersey, you have people living in a very expensive area compared to the rest of the country, and yet, their salaries are below the national average for any given position by as much as 25%. Also, they wait very long (until March) to hand out the annual bonuses.

Pros

Health insurance is not too expensive.

Cons

Low pay, micromanagement by the supervisors, they hire anyone just to fill seats. They have an attendance policy that you get fired if you take a day off even if you have paid time or vacation days. They hot you with what they call "occurrences" if you dare take off. Their inclimate weather policy is basically you get fired if you don't come in.
