Joined the company as a shift manager and promoted to airport manager. Cant beat the free car and gas benefit.

Cons

When working for Avis Budget group you will not have a work life balance. Expect 60 hour weeks and don't expect to be supported by upper management.

No micromanagement. i have a great manager who is always keeping us up to speed with daily matters. Is understanding when it comes to time off etc... No backstabbing. Everybody works as a team and gets along real well.

Cons

The pay is an absolute joke. They hired a large group of examiners after closing the Orlando Office and laying off everybody in that office. So, the company reduces the number of employees to handle a certain department and then lowballs everybody with salary. Everybody that was recently hired is talking about moving on. We've only been there since March/April. many are seeking second jobs or simply can't afford to survive on the crap money we're being paid. ABG was able to cut many many salaries and reduce the amount of people needed to perform a job. Yet, they failed to compensate all of the new employees. An employee asked H/R for a salary range for our position and they refused to provide (illegal?). Why????
