I have worked here for 34 years and despite opportunities that have come up from time to time I have enjoyed the people I have worked with, the honesty and opportunities that have come my way since I joined.

Cons

In the service industry there can be long hours and varied shifts. Any customer facing role will probably include nights, weekends and varied shifts at first. Employees need to work when customers need cars.

I've been with the company +20 years without regret. Rent-A-Car is an interesting business with lots of moving parts to keep every day interesting. The company has always been good to me when it counted most.

Cons

ABG isn't a good fit for everyone. Airports operate 24/7/365 so you'll likely spend at least part of your career outside banker's hours! There's also lots of room for things to go wrong among all the moving parts. If you can't roll with punches, you struggle to accept "good" on your quest for "perfection," or you think in "black and white" rather than a thousand "shades of grey," you might not enjoy your work-life at ABG like I do!
