      Fantastic co-workers, but bogged down with outsourcing problems and disinterest in innovation

      Pros

      Brilliant coworkers, opportunities to work in any role with no fixed specializations unless you wanted it. Some amazing products (but an equal number of duds).

      Cons

      The management team more is more keen on a successful IPO rather than continued success of the business. As a result pay and promotions are greatly cut back to keep the business lean.

      Pros

      Avaya is a great place to work from a work - life balance perspective. The benefits are really good. Vacation time is adequate, and health care insurance is fairly inexpensive.

      Cons

      Typically business case study. Departments in silo's, ridiculous over-management, and terrible communication. Additionally, every group has a different set of metrics.

      Great place with great benefits - health, dental and other perks. Good facilites. Lot of opportunities to learn with plenty of online courses.

      Cons

      Probably my team, but did not see an opportunity to learn and grow. Not much of open communication going on within the company.
