      depends on the department. some good people, some great people, some people just hanging out. need a clear picture of who we are and who we're becoming in a competitive market

      some not really working at it, some execs out of touch with what we can do, what we need to do to compete

      Pros

      Close to home Somewhat flexible with scheduling good people

      Cons

      no part time opportunities, benefits keep going away (no more tuition reimbursement, low 401k match, no more bonuses, etc), work/life balance can leave something to be desired, its all about the bottom line, not about the quality of the product

      Pros

      Mid level associates (those who do the real work) are generally good and capable people Flexible working conditions Very real potential for the company to re-gain its greatness, but only if leadership takes a longterm view and stops concentrating on the next 6 months.

      Cons

      Unrealistic goals with insufficient resources Leadership regularly sets everybody up for failure An almost insane notion that we can do more with less and keep high quality A premium on training but we are given almost no opportunity (money and time) to do so
