Pros

Too many to list, but here goes anyway. Tone at the top. Marching orders from CEO are "get out there and build a better world." Pretty hard to argue with that. The company funds original research into all sorts of things. This attracts people who are not just corporate drones and zombies, and is one of the best recruiting tools I've ever witnessed. The company is rapidly transitioning from a fast follower into a thought leader. Cool office space. Even cooler range of software. Outstanding, well intentioned, responsible people for the most part.

Cons

Some Wall Street hedge funds have noticed that Autodesk has a vision that extends past the end of the current fiscal quarter. It remains to be seen if they can learn to tolerate an altruistic business model that wants to do good things to benefit ALL stakeholders over an extended period of time.

Pros

Co-workers are passionate and civilized , good company benefits, working atmosphere is stimulating. Company has an excellent environmental policy, great and beautiful locations.

Cons

When employees are already putting a lot of hours, If the middle manager wants to look good, you might be under a lot of unnecessary stress. Difficult to control and talk about career path. Also, In recent years, work efficiency has improved but the technical services to employees did not scale, waiting too long and too much red tape for things to be setup correctly.
