Pros

Very smart people. Great technology. Ability to make a difference no matter what your position is. Great opportunities for engineers to be involved with innovative projects.

Cons

Very siloed company.... Think midevil europe and you are getting close. Senior managment are more interested in competing against a different division than a competitor.

Good on paper, bad behind the scenes

Pros

Heath scheme Stock options Working for a good software brand

Cons

Behind the scenes though.... - Constant restructure - Constant cost cutting - at the expense of letting go of employees, only to have remaining cash flow that must be spent each quarter! Dumb - Little room for lower-end employees to advance - Lots of favoritism in the workplace shown by managers - Communication could be better across divisions
