Good technical staff Smallish, niche, profitable Managers remove barriers Products are focused and technical, allowing you to develop expertise. There are many options to grow your career. Young staff including managers are nice to work with.

Cons

Challenges of critical mass in Singapore/Asia Product is technical and can be difficult to always get good staff

Pros

It's a good company, it provides you a big satisfaction to know that you are undirectly participating in engineering and architecture. Great work/life balance: the company is quite flexible on providing you the possibility to work from home, to take some days off if needed.

Cons

Too much politics on the management level. Instead of being operationally efficient and dedicate their time and skills to their job, a lot of time is wasted on meetings planning "with whom and against whom we work". Because of that good, proffessional people for whom the most important is their work, implementation of their techinical skills, are leaving to another companies with more dedicated management.

What you work on directly impacts millions of customers. Software created at Autodesk is used by Engineers, Architects, Construction etc. Almost every you buy might have been designed or created using one of the Autodesk softwares. Great job satisfaction

Cons

Pay is not competitive with respect to the industry, though the benefits are great.
