Pros

-The CEO is purpose-driven, charismatic, and genuinely wants everyone to prioritize users and customers. The compelling vision is effectively communicated by senior leadership. -Employee benefits are modern, relevant, and competitive. I appreciated the ERGs which were particularly active and present. -I had the opportunity to work alongside a talented team of product, engineering and visual effects experts who were dedicated and highly skilled. -The product vision for Flow MVP was clear, well-defined, and easily translated into actionable requirements, roadmap and backlog for the engineering teams.

Cons

-It was challenging to provide honest assessments of program progress due to an environment where raising concerns was discouraged. Deadlines and performance benchmark were continually missed. -The engineering culture was characterized by public challenges and intense scrutiny during demos. It fuelled an intimidating work atmosphere for engineers. -Middle management was somewhat disorganized, marked by finger-pointing. It hindered collaboration, risk management and execution agility.

Pros

Good products. Good functionality. Progressive.

Cons

I have been employed at Autodesk in sales for 2 years and I feel compelled to bring attention to an issue that I was made aware of by my colleagues. Autodesk upholds the principle of treating everyone equally and doesn't tolerate any form of bullying or harassment. Unfortunately, my recent learnings have led me to question this commitment. While at Autodesk , I had interacted with a sales rep in her 40s/50s (unsure) who was from the Midwest region. She was helpful and dedicated yet, to my surprise, she abruptly left Autodesk last month. Despite being a recipient of multiple awards during her time at Autodesk, I learned thru the grapevine, she was literally pushed out by her superiors, citing age and/or personal reasons, It was disheartening to learn from multiple people that she was subjected to daily bullying and harassment and criticized and embarrassed in front of her team by her manager. I attempted to reach out to her for further clarification, however my efforts were unsuccessful. Do you blame her based on the circumstances??!! I am troubled by the fact that this bullying behavior was known within the company yet no action was taken to address it. This raises concerns about the discrepancy between Autodesk's stated values and the actual treatment of employees by their managers. As a company that advocates for equality and respect, it is disappointing to learn that such actions go unchecked. I urge Autodesk C-level executives to reflect on upholding the principles they stand behind and take measures to ensure a safe environment for all employees. Why wouldnt these managers be held accountable for how they treated her...she didn't seem to deserve this treatment. Shame on you Autodesk.

Pros

If you are aligned on what are role goals. You have autonomy to meet them following culture values and ways of working

Cons

Management or lack thereof. Downsizing of staff and cost cutting and shifting of offices to less developed countries. Hardcopy to subscription model business model is a scam to customers and staff.
