      the company does give great benefits in terms of stock options and medical stuff they are fexiibiltiy in work timings.

      Cons

      bad management company direction seems to be changing too often senior management does not set good examples to the rest

      Pros

      Autodesk is the de facto standard for CAD and other 2D and 3D design applications. The company is located in San Raphael, CA and its marketing department operates from 1 Market St. in the heart of San Francisco. The company's products are very cool.

      Cons

      Autodesk has been sitting on its laurels too long. The company lacks innovation and management is an old-school network of Cornell alum who don't like to push the envelope. The company is filled with long-term employees who put in their time and remember the glory days when the company was doubling its revenues every 2 years. The place can be very political. The bad apples are not plucked, but allowed to continue.... the working environment is very non-confrontational, which means that manipulators can get away with abuse.

      Good pay. Great products with strong market position. Good benefits. Flexibility about work schedule.

      Cons

      Lack of senior management alignment, paralyzing indecision/lack of leadership combined with pressure to "get things done". Highly political, with success based on loyalty and insider maneuvering rather than what's good for company. Lots of old timers who ignore newcomers.
