Pay is high compared to similar positions elsewhere. Benefits are sweet - medical/dental/stock options/bonus/401k. Interesting work.

Cons

The company says there is a career ladder but they would rather hire from outside the company than develop talent.

I have worked here for 16 years, since it was Zeneca - before merging with Astra pharmaceuticals. It was a great place to work but with all the coming layoffs it has felt like the "walking dead"....

Cons

Issues with decision making and accountability - matrix type organization and anglo-swedish culture.
