Pros

Salary is decent for a non-profit, hours are flexible, managers and some directors are supportive

Cons

Upper Management does not seem to care much about direct service staff, they just keep pushing to expand programs before addressing issues in their existing programs

Pros

Good mental health experience. Some staff really do care about the clients and are knowledgeable in the counseling field. Many opportunities to work with clients of different mental health diagnoses.

Cons

As mentioned above. Upper management does not listen or care about direct staff workers. Seems like a very cliquey group of people in upper management who gossip and backstab. Poor hourly pay. Unreasonably high billing quota.High caseload. Low morale and high turnover among staff as a result of poor management.
