Local management tries their best to take care of employees, vacation time is better than the standard.

Cons

no tutition reimbursement so education does not matter, pay is lower than other electronic distributors, Commission has steadily decreased and budgets are always increasing. The computer systems are very outdated, sales is always fighting with the product groups to bring in inventory. The customer has been forgotten, it is about the shareholder and everything else is secondary. Continue to look outside of the company for management instead of training and promoting from within. One bad quarter for the company and look for layoffs for the sales team but upper management will continue to get their bonuses.

Excellent name recognition with customers allows inventory to sell itself Great teams of Product Managers, Inside sales reps, and field applications engineers across the country

Cons

Currently experiencing layoffs: Q3 2012 Capped commission structure broken up amongst multiple splits Stingy awards to employees reaching milestones i.e. a pin after 20 years of service instead of a bonus
