Outside the core business it struggles with acquisitions and following a playbook through the mergers. Some of the purchased divisions are losing critical management talent while the business struggles to get on its feet. In 3 years time I saw massive turnover of staff within the divisions and the top management. At the parent level, it is impossible to get the simplest administrative task performed. Tons of red tape.

Distribution of computing solutions is a tough market. Understand that their business model is based on reselling to the channel so the focus is on sales and support for business partners. When sales are down, there is definitely more pressure to deliver results which can mean longer hours. Career advancement opportunities can be limited in some roles as they are often based on business need, not just employee ability. Still opportunities do exist.
