Pros

Work at the corporate office of a multinational Fortune 500 company...that is great experience and really builds a resume! Room for growth but must be vocal. Salary, 401k, benefits, and vacation all competitive. 40 hour weeks easy if you work wise. Gym is useful, cafeteria convenient, building facility is attractive (Dry Creek). Morale rather good in this down economy, culture good enough. 95% good people. Fairly diverse workforce. Electric car charging stations.

Cons

Training is lackluster. Some folks slightly overworked. Huge multinational corporation means change can be tedious, changes constantly occurring but very slowly. No covered parking. Sabbaticals are no more.

Pros

Deep and wide line card, the Arrow name opened many doors, especially in new accounts, and solid working staff locally.

Cons

Good opportunity in territory, however management's desire for 'measurables' weighed down what could have been a very easy model to succeed. Tying metrics to a handful of key suppliers slowed what could have been an open market, and ultimately cost our branch some important people.

Thanks for taking the time to share a review! Metrics are certainly important to ensure that the business has clear expectations for both current and future employees of Arrow. However, perhaps there is a way to pick the ones that make the most sense given the individual needs of particular business situations. We wish you were still with the company to lend your insights into this process, however, wishing you all the best for all your future endeavors!
