Pros
Flexible schedule Work life balance Line managers are great and care Arrow’s Pros are sometimes overlooked by employees. They do a lot to provide flexibility and to make your work life balance actually balanced. They have a great facility at HQ and keep it up. Lots of on-site amenities. I haven’t seen any clock watching or institutional micromanagement.
Cons
No career advancement Pay lags significantly behind market for most positions Endless layoffs There are a lot of cons to Arrow. Over the last two months Arrow has been losing good people to competitors or other firms at a high rate, and the executives could care less. Only token efforts to improve morale. There is also a complete disregard for career path. Management tries to pass off intern hires and lateral moves as promotions to hide the truth - which is there are no promotions. No raises in the last 2 years. Tools and processes are 20 years behind. No formal training for a lot of positions. Forcing employees into the office during the pandemic, hiding the true number of COVID cases on site. Layoffs are an answer for everything. Pay is not competitive with other technology companies. No strategy to grow at all other then to cut as many costs as possible.
