Pros

If you need a job in Denver then you could give Arrow a shot. If you are looking for a position within Arrow outside of Denver I would not recommend it. If you get the job do not get too comfortable.

Cons

No security outside of Denver. CEO sold his soul to the city. Promised 1000s of jobs to city of Denver. Majority of jobs came from other cities and smaller branches all over the country being closed. Branding campaign has cost 100s of jobs so CEO could finance his $100M marketing/ad campaign. Company has spent an estimated $400M in the last few years on stock buy back programs to benefit share holders. Most employees do not even get ESOP type stock distributions anymore. Where did the execs find 5% of OI to sponsor an Indy Car?

If you work there don't let them talk you into a company card

Mostly good people. Very predictable.

Cons

When you are given a corporate credit card you should hope you aren't let go while there are still charges on the card, when you are let go they confiscate the card, remove you from the intranet where expense reports aregarding filed and leave you stuck paying for the supplies you were told to buy. This was in the AVR facility in Gahanna. They stuck me with the bill and I'm sure that's a standard tactic.

Great people to work with. Arrow makes sure you a fed, happy, and able to work well.

Cons

Sometimes long hours - To be expected in accounting. This is normally only around close.
