      Mixed Bag

      Pros

      I appreciated the flexibility, such as the ability to work remotely. There were at least some good people in management who cared about and valued employees.

      Cons

      The compensation was well under market for my type of role. Some members of the leadership team could have used a course on management skills. It's a tough perform-or-you're-out place. Locations outside of Colorado were treated like second class citizens.

      Thanks for taking the time to share about your experiences while at Arrow - it looks like part of the reason you chose to leave the company was partly due to your compensation. (We are currently reviewing this for each of our job profiles to ensure they are up to market.) With regards to the move from New York to Colorado, we provided our employees relocation assistance, and incentives to join us. Many chose to come, but a good number chose to stay where they were as well. Part of our choice to initiate a branding campaign is to help the public better understand what we do b/c of our history as a B2B company. Though it would seem you are no longer with the company, all the best for your future endeavors!

      Not a forward thinking Company unless you look at moving staff out of the UK and paying as little as they can

      Pros

      Its a good place to cut your teeth for a year or so - but you won't progress unless you seriously know how to kiss backsides. Backside kissers get more attention than excellent people who know what they are doing. Treat it like a stepping stone - there is little to no future for you in this company. Don't be fooled.

      Cons

      Poor senior management... A cloak and dagger approach is often adopted. They come across as arrogant and unapproachable.. Very little to no migration within the company, people are left to rot in their positions for years.. There is practically no development of staff, you get the feeling you don't matter and if you want better pay and opportunities - Arrow senior management has suggested in the past you look outside Arrow! That's how bad it is!

      Sorry to hear that you feel as if there has been a lack of growth amongst you and your colleagues - it is incredibly frustrating to feel like things are stagnating and that you are disposable. Right now, we are working on a framework for our jobs that will impact all employees on a global level in the North America, EMEA, and APAC regions. This will enable us to understand each of our job categories and create the ability for managers to have conversation with their workforce about how to grow either crossfunctionally or upwards. Thank you for your patience as we roll out this new initiative within the next year!
