Good working environment, skilled team members and the management is open to introduce new technologies if you proved it has ROI and salaries are in USD not in local currency in Cairo.

Cons

As any other place to work, bad manger turns great job into a nightmare. Team leader doesn't believe in team's output and skills and always demotivates the team. Also the work-life balance is not completely fulfilled as responsibility is high, so you might find yourself working in weekends.

Great place to work (I wouldn’t have been there for 10 years otherwise) A great team of people, Great career progression if you work hard and stay focused – 5 promotions in 10 years

Cons

Unfortunately this company is now losing its focus around its staff, putting pounds before people, as I found out I requested a demotion due to serious family circumstances, offering to give up many benefits I had worked hard for (Car, pay rise, etc.) Family came first Rather than offer to help I was told to wait for a new role, something they knew I could not do, or resign. There was no middle ground, no room for discussion. I was told that a role could not be created for me, something I had seen done on many occasions. Many internals wanted my role and I was willing to trade places for the sake of my family, but management were not open to this idea and I was left with no option but to seek employment elsewhere Luckily for me this turned out to be one of the best things I had done in my career, but that cannot be said for everyone finding themselves in similar situations
