Pros

Love the people I work with, nice new buildings, beautiful workout rooms, nice cafe’. Not much more I can say as pros.

Cons

Rumors of yet another lay-off. Third one in 6 months. CEO, just two weeks ago told the employees in a Global Town hall that if lay-offs happen, it’s failure of leadership. People are already stretched too thin, employees are being asked to work overtime and ridiculed if they decline. CEO and his staff have forgotten about the people, terrible benefits and even worse HR dept. I would stay away from Arrow Electonics.

Pros

New office, parking, cafeteria, gym

Cons

Had a Horrible manager. Was treated as if I was a prisoner. Must arrive at office before 8:30AM and leave after 5:00pm. I am pretty sure that these are the people who give the company a bad name ! After I resigned, I was treated as if I was terminated and while talking to other colleagues, returned to my desk to see that my Laptop was taken away!!! I was not going to take it with me!! Without going into details and how long I survived there, I feel, if you are woman and have kids and looking for any work life balance , this is not the place OR the manager I had is not who you should work for. I did not sign my life away by accepting the offer with Arrow but was definitely given that feeling!! Was super excited to be joining Arrow and that was very very short lived. Hoping they call me for an exit interview ( they say its an external vendor who does that) and plan on getting these mentioned to them also.

Pros

- Arrow provides vacation and PTO slightly better than industry average. - Arrow provides a sizable catalog of educational classes. - Very liberal with travel budgets. - They treat sales people well.

Cons

- Below industry standard pay. - Horrible management and leadership. - Unethical business practices like asking worker to put masonic religious symbols on their e-mails, or providing workers with t-shirts with masonic religious symbols (all seeing eye, NWO winged globe, etc.) - Mass layoffs with no rhyme or reason. - Racist training courses. Every training video shows a helpless black person being victimized by an intellectually superior white person.

Thanks for taking some time to share your thoughts about Arrow and raise some concerns about your observations. It's always important to consider how our outward facing messages might be interpreted by others. Please note however, that you are not required or forced to use a masonic religious symbol on your email signature, and that you are welcome to use a more simple email signature of your choosing, should you so desire, which still reflects Arrow Electronics as a brand and our overarching vision to be "Five Years Out."
