Don't work here!

Pros

The people I work with is the only reason I am still here but yet this has nothing to do with the company itself.

Cons

HR? Who are they? This department is the worst I have seen. They set rules for the company but allow certain departments to do their own thing. The internal recruitment is a very shady area indeed, a lot goes down behind closed doors and no process is followed even though HR sets the processes. Managers can offer people jobs without any formal advertisement or interview which means other people miss out and guess what, HR advise you are supposed to advertise jobs and interview all candidates but certain departments/managers can do whatever they like. And they think all of this goes unnoticed, how stupid must they think we are! Management could not care less about it's employees. There are no staff functions throughout the year yet other entities of Arrow are always out together and creating a bond within their teams - I find it very funny, a multi billion dollar company and they can't afford to treat their staff for their hard work and contributions throughout the year, how pathetic! The communication between departments is virtually non existent. There is no morale here and the atmosphere is awful. I hate everything about this company. Do yourself a favor...work somewhere else, you will be making a big mistake if you join this company.

Toxic culture (Digital)

Pros

Decent salary Used to be a fun place to work Made some great friends along the way

Cons

This was a fun place to work a few years ago but after some bad hires and worse managerial moves, it has become a very toxic place to be. Sound technical decisions have been replaced by massive egos and mistake after mistake. It is really unfortunate because had they treated their employees like people, this could have been one of the great places to work. Instead, people are either being let go during a mass layoff or leaving on their own in search of a better culture where their experience and skills matter.

Pros

Decent starting point for a career in tech sales as you run the whole sales cycle from start to finish. Another positive is the free gym and snacks/beverages.

Cons

My time on the ADR team at Arrow has been overshadowed by issues of inconsistent Mid-Market account distribution, leading to demoralizing favoritism. Despite C-level praise, raises remain elusive, forcing many to juggle two jobs. The absence of a hybrid schedule for ADRs, unlike C-levels, adds financial strain due to gas prices. With low base pay and unequal commission opportunities, transparent policies and proactive leadership action are essential for a fair and collaborative work environment. 1. Favoritism: Discrepancies in account distribution lead to some enjoying lucrative opportunities while others struggle without making commissions. 2. Selective Accountability: Varying standards for call metrics create a sense of inequality among team members. 3. OTE Discrepancy: The disparity between promised and actual earnings is a widespread concern. 4. Resistance to Feedback: Efforts to provide constructive feedback are met with resistance. Addressing these issues, particularly favoritism, and implementing transparent policies are crucial steps towards creating a more equitable and supportive work environment.
