Pros

Great people. Fantastic opportunities. Leading edge technology. One of the few UK high tech companies with truly global influence.

Cons

Pay could do to catch up. The company is very focused on technical contribution. If your job is not technical, you could be fired in a flash.

Thanks for leaving a review. While it is true that ARM is very focused on technical contribution (over 70% of the company are engineers), the non-technical jobs are just as important as we look to grow the company even more than we have in the last few years. Regarding pay, the Rewards team is reviewing current salaries globally across all departments and grades, and will adjust reward/compensation as needed once we are have finished our evaluation. This was also mentioned in the quarterly results meeting if you were able to attended one of the sessions in the office. -Rick C. Social Recruiting Manager

Pros

Good vacation policy. Stress is on working smart than working long hours.

Cons

Health insurance is less competitive compared to competition.

Thanks for leaving a review! We're hoping that with a great vacation policy and less stress on working long hours, that it will lead to healthier, happier employees! That being said, a competitive health insurance is still needed for those unexpected times. If you do have any feedback regarding our health insurance program, please contact your regional HR benefits coordinator, as they do take in all feedback in selecting programs whenever it comes time to choose a new program. -Rick C. Pros

The best place to work with disciplined and talented colleagues here, and of course, competitive pay is also the important factor to join ARM.

Cons

Not easy for a new starter to ramp up since there's no organised technical traning process.

Thanks for leaving a review! While ARM has a very quick day 1 onboarding process so you're able to jump in to projects, we also have a "Big Buddy" program, where all new hires are paired with someone that can answer questions you might have. While it's not a technical training process as you're referring to, we feel this closer 1:1 relationship will allow employees to be more open than in a formal classroom session. Plus, it's two free lunches that the Big Buddy should be picking up the tab for :) Once you've been established for a few months, you'll also be invited to the ARM Big Picture event, where you can meet coworkers from other offices and departments for some fun and networking. If you have any additional feedback on how we can make the new starter/onboarding process even better, please don't hesitate to reach out to your HR business partner! -Rick C.
