      Pros

      Decent salary, good benefits and bonus packages. You are what you make of yourself at ARM. Opportunities to progress career if you take them.

      Cons

      Cambridge area is expensive, particularly housing. Company struggling a bit with logistics of headcount growth, but new facilities should help with that.

You're absolutely right that we've struggled with the logistics of headcount growth, and we're working to correct that in both of the facilities and the processes we have in place (HR, IT, etc.). It's one of the few cons to doing so well, we're expanding rapidly to the point we've overgrown our current housing capacity. As noted with previous reviews, we're reviewing the total rewards package across all regions and groups which could address the cost of living factor of Cambridge. -Rick C. Social Recruiting Manager

      Linch-pin of an entire industry

      Pros

      The company is chock full with super-bright people who are heavily committed to the success of the company. That shoes on a day-to-day basis with how easy it is to affect change when there's a customer knocking at the door, but is balanced by a good strategic view. ARM feels like a place where important things are happening and the company certainly punches above its weight with a huge proportion of the electronics industry relying on what we do.

      Cons

      The pace is relentless, but somewhat tempered by quite an academic consensus culture. Many new people find this balance very difficult to get used to.

      - Good Projects and learning experience for interns - laidback environment - Amazing teams and people

      Cons

      - Below par IT and infrastructure services, quite a lot of times cluster is slow which reduces the efficiency. - Benefits and perks are lower compared to competitors.

      Thanks for leaving a review! Regarding our IT/infrastructure, since we have grown so quickly in a short amount of time, our services have not kept up with our growth. We are correcting this by hiring additional IT staff to make sure that we are set to grow even further in the future. Employee pay is also something that the Rewards team is researching across all groups and locations. Once completed, we will adjust compensation as needed company wide.
