      The Good and the Bad

      Pros

      Arkema is a relatively large company with good benefits and competitive salary.

      Cons

      Working Environment is not good. Their Human Resources Department runs the company and has no understanding on how to deal with employees to promote a positive work environment. They do not promote teamwork and they tend to create internal friction. The R&D Department has too many voids and silos.

      Pros

      Matching 401K, the ability to work from home basically sums it up

      Cons

      The lifers are lazy and afraid of change, the french run the company from France EVERYTHING goes through them so change really never happens... they just keep kicking the rocks down the road. Racism is the norm and runs rapid at the KofP campus. I would run and run FAST!

      Pros

      - Good people across the organization. - Flexible with time off to attend to personal needs. - Technically competent core personnel

      Cons

      - Lots of riders, not many pulling or pushing the cart, - Weak & leaderless 1st line and 2nd line managers. - Technically incompetent middle managers. - No appreciation for flexibility, consistent results and Team players. - Headcount reductions are by numbers at without looking at functions. - Covertly targets ageing workers for elimination with overwhelming workload.
