      French Company and bad management

      Benefits are consistent with the industry. Flex hours

      Executive level allows upper management to treat employees with disrespect. When I complained, I was told, "they get the job done". What does that say? I gave up on caring what happened to my group after that and just put my time in for retirement. I was sad to see what happened with this company during the latter part of the 30 years I was with them. The French think they are superior to those in the US. It is extremely obvious in the way they talk down to you. They definitely do not treat the US employees with the same respect they treat the French employees. HR goes along with executive management, so I found them pretty much useless as a source of assistance with management issues.

      Harassed me for six months to get me to leave without severance

      Pros

      None after all the takeovers.

      Cons

      As an older employee, it was hard for them to fire me, so they resorted to all sorts of harassment, first psychological and then actual physical abuse. Took me 13 years to get a promotion. They then secretly demoted me 5 years later.

      Pretty good, not great

      Small town plant. Environment actually had the family type feel people always claim.

      Cons

      All upper management I met or heard from seemed like a holes.
