£8.01 an hour starting salary Staff Discount at Argos, Habitat and Sainsbury's Livechat = no phones Some good opportunities for progression if your face fits! Most of the time team morale is high

Cons

Lack of support from management and senior staff Team Leader was nitpicking all the time Expecting you to reach targets even the management can't give you understand how to achieve. Team Leader does not know the Job at all and is completely Technophobic. Blocking you booking holidays for no real reason and with no warning Moving new staff around a lot when you have promised a stable learning environment...they should be learning from their team.

It gives you great experience with tills and in stockrooms, its a bit of both and really handy to have.

Cons

Peak/ Christmas time is a nightmare. It can feel like you're putting in more than you get back in terms of labour, wage etc.
