Terrible experience, highly consider Mcdonald's instead
Pros
Struggling to think of anything. I don't think there is anything, the staff back-stab you anyways so I can't say they're friendly.
Cons
Ok here we go: - Terrible management (Managers and leaders always putting you down). If you put everything away perfectly you get told off for going too slow, if you go faster you get told off for your quality going down. - Management have nothing better to do, they literally watch the cameras to see how 'confident' you are handling equipment, they don't realise you have 10 other things to do whilst taking a delivery - Poor work schedules, when working at nights, you can expect to work till anytime. Does it say you are only doing 5 hours tonight? No you are doing 7 hours till 3am in the morning because the 'leader says so'. Basically you are on a ZERO HOUR contract where they can cancel on you and tell you to work till anytime. - Backstabbing employees, although some may be fine, most people you work with will report you for random things such as switching cages too often. This is unfair as there's nobody to tell you when you start you just have to figure what to do all by yourself - No appreciation or recognition. You will always be left with larger items that everyone else leaves for you, and when you do them you will get told off for slow putaway times (I wonder why) and only doing smaller items? It makes no sense. - Too much criticism. They will fault you for anything, a box upside down, a box 1mm too small. Anything. - Basically this job is a complete nightmare so avoid at all costs, consider switching or not applying. No care for employee's physical or mental health, the job is tiring and physically demanding which will cause damage to your health in the long run.
