Great team environment and people. It has a great future (just not in the next 1 or 2 years).

Cons

Unpaid regular overtime, which is frowned upon if you want your time back. A lot of management (D1/C) have very little technical knowledge and constantly take advice from the wrong people. Its about who you know not what you know that generally give's you a promotion. Would seemingly rather let knowledgeable staff go, than pay them market rates. (Then end up paying more for less experienced people). A restructure is obviously on its way but management don't want to talk about it. Career opportunities for specialist teams is just dire to say the least. Car parking is not free.

Been here 2 years with ZERO career development. Insulted by management saying that i hadn't done enough despite working 8am - 7pm Mon to Fri for months and on a Saturday twice with no recognition or extra pay. Management gloss over major problems and tip toe around people that genuinely deserve to be sacked! Inadequate systems that keep breaking down. Zero co-operation from the bookings team with management going out of their way to make the job difficult. A lot of big egos and arrogance. Staff worked like robots with no thanks. Negative atmosphere, with bullies who get away with their malicious behavior ! A lot of catty behaviors from groups of females. Fobbed off and given false promises in regards to promotion opportunities. DO NOT WORK HERE !, bad atmosphere and zero chance of promotion!

Not a lot to say here to be honest. Most people are nice, that's about it. Local employer in north west

Cons

Parking fines issued to staff members for parking at nearby retail park as instructed by their managers!!! Staff told that Argos have an agreement with the retail park and to provide their car reg details ( which we did) to allow us to park there during office hours. Over 30 staff now issued parking fines just before Christmas - wall of silence from managers as to why and not taking any responsibility at all for the instructions they gave to team members. Staff having to pay up to £130 because of incompetent or dishonest managers !!!! AVOID .
