Overworked, understaffed, underpaid, very poor management
Pros
Easy to get a job, easy to pick most stuff up, working collection is unbelievably easy, most of the staff
Cons
Management don't have a clue in particular senior management and stockroom (I have studied management at university for the past 3 years). All employees are paid the same rate (minimum wage) no matter where in the shop they work. Stockroom staff are constantly under pressure are set unrealistic delivery put away time. Matters are only made worse using out-dated headsets (that were trialled and then abandoned by asda) that don't understand you most of the time and for the size of the store the stockroom was too small. Also working delivery you have to phone the store yourself to find out when you are in the next day as they don't find out until the night before. This is shocking especially in this day and age and deliveries are mostly afternoon when it gets busy another mistake by the management. A number of staff are also unfairly kept on temporary contracts for a long period of time.
