Pros

Always busy, different experiences each day, range of skills to be learnt. 10% discount is handy

Cons

The pressure can be hard to deal with sometimes. Also if you're in a small store, stock availability can be minimal which can irritate customers. There is hard physical work involved which can be draining. Also the 'flexible hours' can be a pain as it actually means you can't plan things like child care as shifts differ from week to week.

Friendly co-workers that make it easy to fit in.

Cons

Shift work can be annoying and having to work weekends, but I guess you have to expect that with working in retail.

I love meeting people but most of all it was the staff I made a lot of friends of which im still in touch with we had a great team

Cons

I really don't think I had any down side to the company I loved my job on the jewellery department I only left because of ill health
