- Too many "Senior Managers" within departments that serve little to no real purpose other than attend meetings and achieve very little, then impart miss informed advice as they are so far detached as to what the teams are doing reporting to them - Managers do not act of feedback given by team members - Department managers will only pass on negative feedback and seem to never pass on positive comments to members of the department/team - Not making enough effort to stay current with technology or working methodologies this is proved by the legacy systems they are forced to maintain with huge overhead - Complete failure to implement a continuous delivery environment to improve overall delivery and quality which is highlighted in the press 1 to 2 times a year with significant failures of key areas of the system - Poor hardware, not really sufficient to complete tasks assigned to the role you are in - Unable to keep talented staff due to technology restrictions and internal politics - Low Morale - The HR team must be slowest team I have ever had to deal with
