      They try to be flexible if you need it You get to do different jobs You can work your way up

      Pay is low Staff discount is low You can work past your paid time of there's a promotion You don't get paid enough for the amount you do

      Good communication between management and staff. Able to learn alot quickly & ability to progress within the company

      Contracted hours are normally completed through many short shifts instead of fewer longer ones

      Pros

      I spent 7 years at argos across 3 or 4 stores and in each one found an easy to work with and friendly atmosphere among the team in each one. Career progression was easy and simply laid out. I moved from a Christmas temp to team leader in a year. Cat launch was the highlight of the year.

      Cons

      Online feedback was a joke. 20 minute survey on a 5 customer interaction. High pressure environment, especially during peak. Store managers were either excellent or awful, there was no inbetween.
