Pros

Pay is above minimum wage, and your contract is actually done via Sainsburys as they are owned by them and have been for some time now. There have been a few increases within the last five years. The management has changed hands since I left and has improved the store immensely. Also decent time off if you need to, as holiday is paid via contracted hours per week. (It was easy to get two weeks off! Which greatly helps if you like going abroad.)

Cons

Being customer facing means you often ended up taking the brunt of frustrations from customers who can’t get their item for whatever reason - though Management typically have your back. And as the title says, nobody has a full time contract (other than the store manager). If you’re looking for full time, best apply elsewhere.
