Could be an awesome place to work. Company has a diverse portfolio of clients and opportunities.

Cons

Arcadis is missed managed. Has an extremely high focus on clients and reducing overhead. Employee retention is a lower focus for the company. Employees are miscommunicated to regarding companies goals and finances. Poor employee focus. Started declining after the acquisition of BBL.

Pros

Adequate compensation and benefits. Involved in many interesting engineering projects.

Cons

Though it presents itself as an employee-focused innovative company, bureaucracy and safe mediocrity is valued above all else. Management is continually making poor, short-sighted decisions that value billability over its people. Talented people are fleeing this company, and internal politics are ousting many more that would like to stay. Five+ years ago, this company constantly demonstrated a genuine appreciation for its employees. Poor hiring decisions in middle and senior management, however, combined with an unwillingness to correct its course, have eroded the soul of the organization.

Flexible schedule, compensation is fine. Health benefits were excellent.

Cons

Arcadis management only promotes or appreciates people who are a part of their click. Hard work is not rewarded.
