Pros

Every office of a big company is bound to be a different experience. In the office I worked in we had a family like interaction prior to being purchased by ARCADIS (It was formerly Malcolm Pirnie). When we merged with another local ARCADIS office we all buckled down and focused on our billability a bit more. It is a big company so there are pretty good benefits, vacation, and stock discounts.

Cons

The company says it strives to be the best but then says their benefits are on par with other companies. If you want to be the best and attract the best, offer the best package. There has been a strong focus on billability but due to employees unhappiness with the culture there seems to be change coming to focus more on client happiness.

Pros

Acceptable salary and benefits, upper management often in a completely different city, meaning limited daily meddling.

Cons

Unrealistic productivity expectations. Too many mergers and acquisitions make it difficult to know what department you are in, who to answer to, etc. Most projects are split amongst different offices, with limited interaction between coworkers.

Pros

Good work life balance, friendly and supportive team members. Good breath of online learning courses, approachable Middle East CEO, work hard in gaining Client's trust.

Cons

Lack progression for junior-middle tier professionals, focus only on graduate or seniors development, very low remuneration, too many seniors, associates and partners and extremely low pay for some. No salary grading system, old school management.
