Pros
There is a camaraderie among Lane Operators, and Station Management are professional, but friendly, and willing to help if needed with difficult customers/etc. You won't get tossed to the sharks.
Cons
I get the impression that Upper Management was intentionally skirting the contract to see how much they could get away with after the 2017 State pay increase. There were other recent events that were seen to be caused by Upper Management, and received with general negativity and loss of morale. As of mid-2017, the contract Applus+ has with the State of Washington is scheduled to end at the end of December 2019, meaning all new jobs are essentially short-term with extremely limited potential (if any) for upward movement.
