The environment heavily favors relationship management and internal politics over technical expertise. Promotion tracks can feel non-transparent, with a strong tendency toward nepotism within specific cohorts. e.g. Indians hiring other Indians. Expect a 'hustle culture' where long hours are the norm, though much of that time is spent navigating redundant processes. To succeed here, one must be highly adept at self-promotion and posturing, as actual output is often secondary to perceived impact.
