Extreme turnover in tech leaders shows that there is a systemic problem in the organization. I have been here for a few years and I am already on my 5th leader. Constant Leadership changes create instability, erode trust , it is making the environment increasingly inconsistent and politically driven. Political maneuvering over substance is most important. Visibility and influence over actual contributions is what matters most to the current leaders. Feed the egos! Senior Leaders particularly VPs and above are not aligned. There is no vision on where the products are going. Each leader has their own agenda and is trying to build their own kingdoms. Favoritism is Rampant. No Idea how this company continues to win ethics awards. Corporate doesn't seem to have any ethics. Positions are made for the friend of leaders. Leaders egos are GIGANTIC. Product is a messy show of people who do not understand the business or how software is built leading to extremely redundant systems and massive amounts of technical debt. I have no trust in the leadership. especially the most recent batch of new leaders. There is no growth upward growth and the good leaders are burnt out and tired of politics.
