      A nice product based company with good culture, focusing on agile methodologies

      Pros

      Its a small product based company having good culture. You can maintain work life balance as there is no such pressure from the higher management. Managers are technical persons thats really helpful for developers and testers. They are focusing more on agile methodologies and good coding practices. Food is free. Cab services.

      Cons

      Slow progress if you are really looking for designation. Domain/business is the most challenging thing to understand. No onsite opportunity.

      Pros

      You work on several different projects, so therefore you're put in a position to learn and improve many skills. A great work environment where you work individually on many projects, but have the support other colleagues to do your best.

      Cons

      Working long hours is a regular occurrence. The promotion process is different and can be a little tricky.

      Pros

      compared with other companies I have worked at, Ceridian UK has an amazing set of qualities. Engagement is good and team spirit is very high. The average length of service is very high - a great indicator that people love working here. Net Promoter Score, a measure used to gauge customer satisfaction has steadily increased year on year and is reaching world class levels. Amazing for the payroll/technology sector that is often only judged when things go wrong!

      Cons

      Ceridian operate in a very competitive market sector. Price pressure is intense, there always seems to be a competitor's prepared to 'buy' business and then provide sub-standard quality of service or change control the customer to recoup their losses. This environment can result in a vicious spiral of price cutting, which is bad for the industry and bad for customers. It also makes it very hard to grow a profitable business. The consequence is that Ceridian have had some years where growth or profit has been below its plans, while still doing the right things. Obviously this harms the positive culture and great working environment that exists here. The trick is to be so radically different and better than the competitors these issues diminish, something I feel is very close.
